Drop-off and Pick-up Procedures
Children can be dropped off from 8:30 am to 9:00 am and picked up between 4:30 pm and 5:00 pm at the Visitor Centre.

Anyone dropping off or picking up children must follow these procedures:

DROP-OFF:  Sign your child in with the day camp leader.
PICK-UP:  Go to the day camp leader to sign out your child.  You will be asked to identify yourself and your child.  As a further precaution, we request that you and your child select a "family password" that will confirm the identity of the transport person. The day camp leader will also ask you for this password before releasing a child.

Because several parents are signing out at the same time, please allow time for this process to take place to ensure the safety of all children.  For arrivals and departures outside of the designated times above, the Fort's Administration building will be utilized as a drop-off and pick-up point. If you anticipate that your child will be late or absent, please call the Education Team Leader at (807) 473-2315.

Special Needs
If your child has special needs, details must be included with your registration form.  We are unable to provide one on one supervision or specific medical support.  If your child has a support person at school you must provide one at camp. If you are unsure whether our camp is appropriate for your child, please call the Education Team Leader at (807) 473-2315.

Conduct Policy
Fort William Historical Park aims to provide a safe learning environment where participants are free from bullying, discrimination and stereotyping.  In the event of disruptive behaviour a warning and time out will be used.  If disruptive behaviour continues, the parent/guardian will be contacted for a discussion with the camp leader.  Fort William Historical Park reserves the right to remove from the program children whose disruptive behaviour cannot be resolved.
