Please be aware that other young participants attending our camps may have allergies to nuts and related products. Because of this, we request that you not send peanut food products with your child to camp. This will ensure the healthy enjoyment for all participants in our programs.
For any questions regarding camp activities, call Carla Gibson, Education Team Leader at 807-473-2315.
Drop-off and Pick-up Procedures
Children can be dropped off from 8:30 am to 9:00 am and picked up between 4:30 pm and 5:00 pm at the Visitor Centre.
Anyone dropping off or picking up children must follow these procedures:
DROP-OFF: Sign your child in with the day camp leader.
PICK-UP: Go to the day camp leader to sign out your child. You will be asked to identify yourself and your child. As a further precaution, we request that you and your child select a "family password" that will confirm the identity of the transport person. The day camp leader will also ask you for this password before releasing a child.
Because several parents are signing out at the same time, please allow time for this process to take place to ensure the safety of all children. For arrivals and departures outside of the designated times above, the Fort's Administration building will be utilized as a drop-off and pick-up point. If you anticipate that your child will be late or absent, please call the Education Team Leader at (807) 473-2315.
If your child has special needs, details must be included with your registration form. We are unable to provide one on one supervision or specific medical support. If your child has a support person at school you must provide one at camp. If you are unsure whether our camp is appropriate for your child, please call the Education Team Leader at (807) 473-2315.
