Campground Reopens May 18, 2018

For a unique camping experience, “Sleep Under the Stars” at Fort William Historical Park. Nestled on the banks of the scenic Kaministiquia River and surrounded by picturesque wilderness, the campground has plenty of room for RVs, trailers, and tents of all sizes, and offers both serviced and non-serviced sites. Northern Ontario’s beautiful summer nights make for an amazing camping experience the whole family will enjoy!

RV and tenting camping packages are available from Friday May 18 through Monday October 8, 2018. Space is limited.

Non-serviced sites $25/night + HST

Serviced sites $35/night + HST

  • Equipped with 50/30/20-amp electrical outlets, and a fresh water connection

RV Rentals $110/night +HST

  • Complete with kitchen, dining area, bathroom and sleeping areas for up to 6 people
  • Bring your own sleeping gear, cookware and supplies

Campground amenities include:

  • Clean, hot showers and flush toilets
  • Picnic areas with tables and firepit rings
  • Free Wi-Fi
  • Access to our gift shop where you can purchase souvenirs and gifts, ice and firewood
  • Pets are welcome at campsites
  • Just a short drive to a variety of shopping and dining locales
  • Paved wheelchair-accessible pathways
  • Access to the Kaministiquia River
  • Garbage cans and recycling bins 
  • Access to a grey and black water dump station
