June through September 2017
FWHP offers a variety of week-long summer day camps from June through September. Day camps focus on exploration and education with indoor and outdoor activities and games for children ages 7 to 15.
FWHP’s Voyageur Winter Carnival, Northern Ontario’s largest winter carnival, has again been recognized as one of Ontario’s Top 100 Festivals and Events! This year visitors were able to explore our giant snow maze which holds the Guinness Book of World Records title for Largest Snow Maze, and enjoy tubing and sliding hills, horse drawn wagon rides, winter carnival games, and many more family-friendly winter activities. Guests also had the opportunity to fire a reproduction musket and visit the cabane à sucre (Sugar Shack) to experience Francophone culture and purchase maple taffy treats.
