Great Rendezvous Celebration • July 8-16, 2023
Enjoy a variety of exciting programs and activities that celebrate the people who helped build Fort William Historical Park and its fur trade history, culminating in a weekend re-enactment.
Great Rendezvous Historic Re-enactment • July 14-16, 2023
Rendezvous is a re-creation of the annual summer gathering held at Fort William over 200 years ago when it was the inland headquarters of the North West Company, which, at the time was the world's largest fur trading enterprise with posts stretching across North America. During Rendezvous, French-Canadian voyageurs, Scottish businessmen, Indigenous Peoples, and other from various places around the world would gather at Fort William to discuss business, share news and renew friendships.
The historic re-enactment will include daily workshops, contests, arrival, and more! Stay tuned for our daily event schedule. Historic re-enactor camping will be available July 13-17, 2023.

Great Rendezvous Historic Re-enactment
July 14-16, 2023
Fort William Historical Park will be celebrating its 50th anniversary throughout 2023. Fort William Historical Park features one of North America's largest living history sites, which brings to life the 19th century fur trade at Fort William, the inland headquarters of the North West Company.
To celebrate this landmark event, we are holding a Great Rendezvous Celebration July 8-16, 2023, which will culminate with the Great Rendezvous Historic Re-enactment July 14-16, 2023. The Historic Re-enactment will include daily workshops, contests, arrival, and more! Stay tuned for our daily event schedule.
To register for the Great Rendezvous Re-enactment, complete the Registration Package and the Waiver and Release Forms, submit by:
