Take an educational journey to the stars at the David Thompson Astronomical Observatory! We offer quality educational experiences year-round that highlight the many wonders of space as well as our cultural heritage.

Our programs are designed to meet the Ontario Ministry of Education curriculum and cover a variety of topics, including:

  • Indigenous Studies, focusing on Anishinaabe culture, traditions and language
  • Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), from both Indigenous and European perspectives
  • Social studies, History and Geography
