Indigenous Night Sky Storytelling

February 5, 19 and 26, 2026 – 7 to 9 p.m.

Join us at the David Thompson Astronomical Observatory during the winter months when snow covers the land to hear stories from time immemorial about the night sky told by Indigenous storytellers. Activities will also include learning about the Anishinaabe star chart, outdoor night sky viewing, and discovering our meteorite collection and space exhibits.

Celebrate the world of winter sports and games with a magical blend of traditional carnival fun at Fort William Historical Park. Enjoy two days of indoor and outdoor activities, kid’s sliding hill, winter games and contests, live music, artisan demonstrations, farm animals, delicious food, and much more! The Great Rendezvous

July 10, 11 and 12, 2026

Registration is now open to re-enactors looking to participate in Fort William Historical Park’s annual Great Rendezvous historical re-enactment. There is no cost to be a re-enactor. Completed applications are due by 4 p.m. on Friday, June 19, 2026.
